senaite Min.|seɪ-, ˈsɛnəaɪt| [f. the name of Joachim de Costa Sena, 19th-cent. Brazilian mineralogist + -ite1.] A rhombohedral titanate of iron, lead, and manganese, found as rough black crystals and rounded fragments in diamond-bearing sands in Brazil.
