seismograph, n. and v.|ˈsaɪzməʊgrɑːf, -æ-| Also sismo-. [f. seismo- + -graph. Cf. It. sismografo (Palmieri), F. sismographe.] An instrument for recording automatically the phenomena of earthquakes.
