Cadbury code, n. Brit. Business. Brit. |ˈkadb(ə)ri ˌkəʊd|, U.S. |ˈkædbəri ˌkoʊd| [‹ the name of Sir George Adrian Hayhurst Cadbury (b. 1929), a director of the Bank of England 1970–94 and head of the commission that produced the code in 1992 + code n.1] A code of practice regulating the corporate governance of all companies listed on the London Stock Exchange, esp. with regard to remuneration of senior management.
