bromism Med.|ˈbrəʊmɪz(ə)m| [f. brom-ine + -ism.] ‘The condition produced by an overdose or too long continuance of bromine or a bromide’ (Syd. Soc. Lex.); but used almost exclusively of the effects of potassium bromide.
