Schabzieger|ˈʃaptsiːgər| Also Chapsager, -ziger, Schabzeiger, Schabziger, etc. [ad. G. schabziger, f. schaben to grate + ziger a kind of cheese.] A kind of hard green cooking cheese made in Switzerland from curds, and flavoured with melilot. In full, Schabzieger Käse. Cf. sapsago.
