‖ sauriosis Path.|sɔːrɪˈəʊsɪs| [mod. medical L., f. Gr. σαύρ-α, σαῦρ-ος lizard + -osis. Also, more correctly, sauˈriasis (Gould Illustr. Dict. Med. 1894, Syd. Soc. Lex. 1897).] A form of ichthyosis (also called in mod.L. Ichthyosis sauroderma) in which the skin resembles that of a lizard.
