boanthropy|bəʊˈænθrəpɪ| [f. Gr. βοάνθρωπ-ος (f. βοῦς ox + ἄνθρωπος man) + -y3; cf. misanthropy.] A form of madness in which a man believes himself to be an ox (see Daniel iv. 33).
