Ro-Railer|rəʊˈreɪlə(r)| Also ro-railer. [f. road n. + rail n.2 + -er1.] The name of an experimental vehicle, introduced by the London, Midland, and Scottish Railway, which could be adapted to run on either road or railway. (No longer current.) Cf. road-railer s.v. road n. 12.
