Rhodoid|ˈrəʊdɔɪd| Also Rhodoïd, rhodoid. [a. F. Rhodoïd, f. L. Rhod(anus the River Rhône + -oïd(e -oid.] A proprietary name for an incombustible thermoplastic derived from cellulose acetate.
