rhodizite Min.|ˈrəʊdɪzaɪt| [ad. G. rhodizit (Rosé), f. Gr. ῥοδίζειν to be red, from ῥόδον rose.] Borate of aluminum and potassium: so called because it colours the blowpipe-flame red.
