A. n. A mixture prepared beforehand; spec. (a) Agric., a powder or granular preparation into which a drug or the like has been incorporated and which is mixed with animal feed to introduce the drug, etc., into it in suitably low concentrations; (b) synthetic resin to which various substances have been added to make it suitable for moulding; (c) (see quot. 1976).
