allantoid, a. and n. Phys.|əˈlæntɔɪd| [mod. ad. Gr. ἀλλαντο-ειδής; f. ἀλλᾶντ- sausage + -ειδής shaped: see -oid, and cf. mod.Fr. allantoïde.] A. adj. Of or pertaining to the allantois.
