‖ proslambaˈnomenos [L. (Vitruv.) a. Gr. προσλαµβανόµενος (sc. τόνος) the note taken in addition, i.e. added below the ὑπάτη, hypate.] The name of the lowest note, added below the lowest tetrachord, in the later scales or systems of ancient Greek music.
