‖ ˌpneumoperiˈcardium Path. [mod.L., f. pneumo- + pericardium.] The presence of air or gas in the pericardium. So ‖ ˌpneumopericarˈditis, pneumopericardium accompanied by pericarditis (Billings Med. Dict. 1890).
