plantie-cruive Also planta-, planti-, planty-, -crew, -crü. dial. (Shetl. and Orkn.) [f. Sc. plantie, dim. of plant n.1 + cruive.] A kitchen-garden enclosure.
1814J. Shirreff Agric. Surv.
