† ˈpink-needle Herb. Obs. [f. pink v.1 + needle.] A name given to the Stork's-bill (Erodium moschatum, or E. cicutarium), from the long tapering beaks of the seed-vessels. (Erroneously taken as a name of Scandix Pecten by Halliwell, etc., through misunderstanding quot. 1562.)
