‖ Phœbades, n. pl.|ˈfiːbədiːz| [L. pl. of Phœbas, a. Gr. ϕοιβάς, pl. -βαδες, priestess of Phœbus.] Priestesses of Phœbus or Apollo; persons possessed by a spirit of divination.
