phraseograph Shorthand.|ˈfreɪziːəgrɑːf, -æ-| [f. as prec. + -graph.] A phrase for which there is a phraseogram. So phraseoˈgraphic a., of the nature of a phraseogram, written in phraseography. phraseˈography [see -graphy], (a) the representation of phrases or sentences by abbreviated characters in writing, esp. in systems of shorthand; the use of phraseograms; (b) written phraseology.
