‖ peronium Zool.|pəˈrəʊnɪəm| Pl. -ia. [mod.L., a. Gr. περόνιον, dim. of περόνη fibula, pin.] Each of the cartilaginous processes connecting the bases of the tentacles with the marginal ring in the Narcomedusæ, a section of the Hydrozoa. Hence peˈronial a., of or pertaining to a peronium.
