panchama India.|ˈpʌntʃʌmə| [Skr., = fifth.] A member of the fifth division of early Indian society, outside the four main divisions of Brahmin, Kshatrya, Vasiya and Sudra; a pariah, an outcaste. This caste was also called Pancham Bandam.
