‖ padmasana, n. Yoga.|ˌpʌdˈmɑːsənə| [Skr. padmāsana, f. padma *padma n., lotus + āsana seat, posture.] In Yogic exercises: the lotus position, in which the legs are folded and crossed and the feet turned sole upwards on the thighs. See lotus n. 3 c.
