Ouidaesque, a.|wiːdəˈɛsk| [f. Ouida, the nom-de-plume of the English novelist Marie Louise de la Ramée (1839–1908) + -esque.] Characteristic or suggestive of the novels of ‘Ouida’; marked by extravagance or lack of restraint.
