ornithosaurian, a. (n.) Palæont.|-ˈsɔːrɪən| [f. mod.L. Ornīthosauria, neut. pl. f. ornitho- + Gr. σαῦρος lizard: see saurian.] a. Of, belonging to, or having the character of, the Ornithosauria, an extinct order of flying reptiles, including the pterodactyl; more usually called Pterosauria. b. n. A member of this order.
