ˈone-blade [f. one a. + blade n., leaf.] Lyte's name for Smilacina bifolia (Maianthemum bifolium), a herb allied to the lily-of-the-valley, having a large solitary leaf springing from the root-stock, and two smaller alternate ones upon the flower-stalk.
