omicron|ˈɒmɪkrɒn, əʊˈmaɪkrɒn| [Gr. ὄ µικρόν, lit. ‘little O’: cf. omega.] The fifteenth letter (ο, ο) of the Greek alphabet, originally having the value of the short o.
