objurgation|ɒbdʒɜːˈgeɪʃən| [ad. L. objurgātiōn-em, n. of action from objurgāre: see prec. Cf. F. objurgation (15–16th c. in Godefroy).] The action, or an act, of objurgating; a sharp or severe rebuke; chiding, scolding.
