‖ nychthemeron|nɪkˈθiːmərɒn| Also nycth-. [a. Gr. νυχθήµερον, neut. of νυχθήµερος lasting for a day and a night, f. νύξ, νυκτ- night + ἥµερα day.] A period of twenty-four hours, consisting of a day and a night.
