apojove Astr.|ˈæpəʊdʒəʊv| [(a. Fr. apojove), ad. mod.L. apojovium, f. Gr. ἀπό from + L. Jov- Jupiter; cf. apogee.] The point in the orbit of a satellite of the planet Jupiter at which it is at its greatest distance from the planet.
