neurula Embryol.|ˈnjʊərələ| Pl. neurulæ. [mod.L., f. neur- + -ula, as in blastula, gastrula.] An embryo at the time when it is developing a neural tube from the neural plate. So neuruˈlation, the formation of a neurula.
