Mudie|ˈmjuːdɪ| The name of Charles Edward Mudie (1810-90) used absol., attrib., or in the possessive to designate the lending library opened by him in London in 1842, which continued in business until 1937; or labels, lists, boxes, etc., associated with the library or its contents.
