morphographemic, a. Linguistics.|mɔːfəʊgrəˈfiːmɪk| [f. Gr. µορϕ-ή form + graphemic a.] Of or pertaining to the written form of words; spec. morphographemic rule, a rule of writing in transformational grammar (see quot. 1972).
