1837P. Keith Bot. Lex. 259 The colouring matter obtained from Morus tinctoria has been regarded by M. Chevreul as a peculiar substance, and designated by the appellation of morin. 1875Ure's Dict. Arts III. 365 Morine. This is the name given by Gerhardt to the principal colouring matter of the Morus tinctoria or old fustic. |
