antitropal, a. Bot.|ænˈtɪtrəpəl| [f. mod.L. antitrop-us, mod.Fr. antitrope (f. Gr. ἀντί against + -τροπ-ος turning) + -al1.] Of an embryo: Inverted, so as to have the radicle at the extremity of the seed opposite to the hilum.
