microteaching, n. Educ. (orig. and chiefly U.S.).|ˈmaɪkrəʊtiːtʃiŋ| Also micro-teaching. [f. micro- + teaching vbl. n.] A method of teacher training, designed to develop specific skills, which involves the teaching of a small class for a short time followed by analysis of (a film recording of) the session.
