Metawileh|mɛˈtɑːwɪleɪ| Also Matawila, Metawaileh, Metawala, etc. [ad. Arab. matāwila, pl. of mutawālī one who professes to love ‘Alī.] Name of a sect of the followers of ‘Alī who live in Lebanon and Syria.
