mechanician|mɛkəˈnɪʃən| Also 6–7 -icien, 7 -itian. [f. mechanic + -ian. Cf. F. mécanicien.] a. One who practises or is skilled in a mechanical art; a mechanic, artisan. Now rare. b. One who is skilled in the construction of machinery.
