Native cuprous iodide, CuI, found as colourless to pale yellow isometric crystals that redden when exposed.

New South Wales XXVI. 328 Mr. Marsh forwarded to me a small specimen of the copper iodide, and I have verified the principal characteristics as given in his description; as the mineral appears to be a new one, I suggest that it be named Marshite. 1939Amer.
