Malaysian, a. and n.|məˈleɪsɪən| [f. Malaysia, a name given by some geographers to the Malay archipelago + -an.] A. adj. Of or belonging to Malaysia. Recently in the narrower sense: of or pertaining to the Federation of Malaysia (formed in 1963 from the states of Malaya, Sabah, Sarawak, and (until 1965) Singapore).
