malaxate, v.|ˈmælækseɪt| [f. ppl. stem of L. malaxāre, ad. Gr. µαλάσσειν, to make soft, related to µαλακός soft: see -ate.] 1. trans. To knead to softness; to make soft by mixing or rubbing.
