† malasade Cookery. Obs. Also 5 malesade, mes(e)lade. [f. OF. malaxé, f. malaxer ‘to blend, and beat together, as egges’ (Cotgr.: see malaxate v.) + -ade.] An old dish composed chiefly of fried eggs softened with butter.
