magadize, v. Anc. Mus.|ˈmægədaɪz| [ad. Gr. µαγαδίζειν, f. µάγαδις magadis: see -ize.] a. intr. To play or sing in octaves. b. To play upon the magadis. Hence ˈmagadized ppl. a., ˈmagadizing vbl. n.
