logaœdic, a.|lɒgəˈiːdɪk| [ad. late L. logaœdicus, ad. Gr. λογαοιδικ-ός, f. λόγ-ος speech, prose + ἀοιδή song (as standing between the rhythm of prose and of poetry).] Epithet of various metres in which dactyls are combined with trochees. Also quasi-n., a logaœdic verse.
