linkspan, n.|ˈlɪŋkspæn| Also link span. [f. link n.2 + span n.1] In full linkspan bridge. In a port or at a ferry terminal, a kind of hinged bridge that can be adjusted so as to link on to the stern ramp of a vessel to form a bridge for loading or unloading.
