Carter ABC for Book-Collectors 153 Remboîtage means the transferring of a book from its own binding to another more elegant, more nearly contemporary, more appropriate—anyway, more desirable; or, alternatively, the transferring into a superior binding of a text more interesting or more valuable than the one for which it was made. 1968C.
