lewisite1 Min.|ˈluːɪsaɪt| [f. the name of W. J. Lewis (1847–1926), British mineralogist + -ite1.] An antimonate and titanate of calcium, iron, and sodium, (Ca,Fe,Na)2(Sb,Ti)2O7, which is found as small yellow to yellowish brown octahedral crystals and may be regarded as a titanian romeite.
