Leadenhall|ˈlɛdənhɔːl| The name of an area in London, used attrib. in Leadenhall Market, a poultry market in London; Leadenhall Street, a street in London which from 1648 to 1861 contained the headquarters of the East India Company, hence designating the Company itself.
