laparostict, a. and n. Ent.|ˈlæpərəʊstɪkt| [f. laparo- + Gr. στικτ-ός spotted, vbl. adj. f. στίζειν to prick.] A. adj. Of scarabæid beetles: Having abdominal spiracles in the membrane connecting the dorsal and ventral corneous plates. B. n. A laparostict beetle.
