androgynary, a. Bot.|ænˈdrɒdʒɪnərɪ| [mod. f. L. androgyn-us (see androgyne n.) + -ary, after mod.Fr. androgynaire.] Applied, after De Candolle, to flowers in which both stamens and pistils are developed into petals, as in the double narcissus.
