Promethean, a. (n.)|prəʊˈmiːθiːən| Also (erron.) 6–7 -ian, 7 -æan. [f. Prometheus + -an.] A. adj. 1. Of, pertaining to, or resembling Prometheus, in his skill, art, or punishment.
