1. Used allusively (chiefly attrib.) to refer to the Archbishop of Canterbury, whose palace is at Lambeth, or to the Church of England; esp. in Lambeth Conference, an assembly of the Anglican bishops, usu. held decennially at Lambeth Palace; Lambeth degree, a degree honoris causa conferred by the Archbishop of Canterbury.

2. Used attrib. or absol. to designate a kind of glazed and painted earthenware manufactured in Lambeth from the 17th to the 19th century.

3. Lambeth Walk, the name of a street in Lambeth, used as the title of a Cockney song and dance first performed by Lupino Lane in the revue Me and my Gal in 1937.
